Frequently asked questions
semi-permanent cosmetic eyebrow tattooing procedure is where pigment is manually implanted beneath the surface of the skin (the epidermis) using our digital tattoo machine with one use only cartridges or with microblading a very fine, sterile, disposable blade. As a semi- permanent make up artist I will implant pigment in hair like strokes completely mimicking the look of real eyebrow hair creating natural looking results or your preferred style.
you can do all brow styles with both procedures. hairstrokes, shading, combination, powder.
This procedure is ideal for anyone looking to enhance the shape of their eyebrows regardless of the amount of natural hair present. The natural hair will only be removed sparingly and at no time will any natural hair be removed without the client’s consent. A client with no eyebrow hair is also ideal for this procedure. shading can be added in addition to create more depth and dimension to the eyebrow area.
Everyone can have semi-permanent brows over the ages of 18, not everyone can have microblading. please get in touch with Jessica for your consultation.
Jessica has trained with one of the top companies in the permanent makeup industry. Olivia Naylor at The Brow and Blade academy. She has then gained extra qualifications with her microblading and kept up todate with the latest trends earning even more qualifications in the different brow styles. Expect mild swelling and redness immediately after the procedure; this generally subsides within several hours. During the first week pigment tends to look darker and sharper. At the end of week 1 into week 2 the skin will begin to naturally exfoliate and shed. Light scabbing and flaking can occur. It is important to follow all aftercare directions and to not pick or scratch the eyebrow area. Eyebrows will generally look lighter after exfoliation. Weeks 4-6 skin completes the healing process and pigment becomes more visible, you will then be due for you top up.
